Producers and creators of musical theater are consistently attempting to reinvent or discover the “new era” of musical theater… or whatever generates the most profit. The Best Musical Ever finds our cast of coffee shop employees trying to impress and pitch their new ideas to the head of Corn Productions, Justin Oliver Lance, while he waits for an order.

 

With a time crunch and coffee to make, they try everything from musicals about being an intern at a law firm to calling your mom for money. With the help of customers, strangers, and even Justin himself, they put on song after song to try and get their best idea greenlit for the stage! Will they come up with an idea in time?
