Corn Productions at Cornservatory
Our mission is to provide original works at a reasonable price; to harvest untapped talent and provide a catalyst for artistic development, and to sow the seeds of theater arts in our neighborhood and community.
Cornservatory has been the home of Corn Productions since 1999, but the history of Corn Productions dates back our first production in 1992. Boasting more than 180 original shows, Corn Productions has been the home to numerous Chicago staples.
Our yearly holiday themed sketch shows, Deathtoll (October) and Happy Holly-Daze (November/ December) break up our season of brand new plays and musicals, created by our team, for you.
Rounding out our offerings are new and established Improv Teams brought in from Chicago's famous Improv institutes, to our intimate North Side space. Most of these teams have made their Cornservatory debut during one of our 30+ seasons of The Original Improv Gladiators, the premiere Improv Competition in Chicago.
