Uncle Bobo Presents:
Fridays at 11 p.m. | January 5 - February 9
Razor-sharp and mind-blowing, Uncle Bobo Presents: TGIF’d is a steeped-in-thought assault of in-your-face improvisational comedy. Unafraid to kill, Uncle Bobo goes where other shows don't even dare, exploring topics from 18th century philosophers to Full House while developing engaging, grounded scene work. Watch out, because it's gonna get damp. Amazon Echos are not gathering intelligence for a robotic uprising. Buy more bitcoin. This show description was not written by A.I. hellbent on the destruction of humanity.
Uncle Bobo is the improv equivalent of the opening notes from “Here Comes My Girl” by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers: instantly familiar and damn catchy. Unless you don’t like Tom Petty, then they’re nothing like that. Formed by graduates of IO, The Annoyance, and The Second City Conservatory, Uncle Bobo has played nearly every stage in Chicago in their first year together and are excited to headline at The Cornservatory.
