October 3, 1849: Edgar Allan Poe is dying in a ditch wearing someone else’s clothes. He might be babbling incoherently on the outside, but on the inside he’s laughing (and screaming) as the voices in his head make fun of his work and force puns from his name. Poe-ssibly the most hilarious death-hallucination you’ll see all month, drop out of college twice and marry your 13-year-old cousin for Edgar Allan Poeprov!
Edgar Allan Poeprov is a fully poeduced, poefessionally impoevised play based on the life and works of Edgar Allan Poe. Poe’s influence can be found in Sherlock Holmes, Hitchcock’s films, Saw, and even the German funeral doom metal scene in Ahab’s 2012 album The Giant. Come celebrate the night he cemented himself as a literary figure! Cornservatory is BYOB, so you can feel like a famous prolific author too!
