A show of laughter, a raucous display
An improvised play, it's beyond belief
Part Dog returns to the Cornservatory stage with Bard Dogs: the Unwritten Works of Shakespeare. The show is a fantastically fresh take on the immortal Bard's poetry. Each show, the women and men of Part Dog will pen the first and last draft of an all new, unbelievable play that Shakespeare never wrote, but he definitely would have loved. The beautiful language Willy is known for is played with punk-rock energy and enthusiasm, creating an improvised show that will thrill scholars and knaves alike. Grab your flagon of ale and BYOB to this comedy of errors!
Part Dog is an independent, Chicago-based improv troupe. They are storytellers, poets, comedians, athletes, and fools. They've done children's theater, improv comedy, sketch, music, dance, and clowning! Their motto is a bit strange, but once you've seen them play, it makes total sense: "We work hard to be bad at what we're best at".
